Pre-germinated Seed
There is nothing new about pre-germinated seed, the early Roman settlers pre-germinated seed and today small quantities can be pre-germinated in trays of moist loose soil for rapid re-generation of damaged areas on sports turf area.
However, we offer a commercially available and affordable service to all sectors of the sports turf industry. We provide a unique process which ensures that the three main essentials for fast and high level germination – Water, Oxygen & Optimum temperature are combined to produce pre-germinated seed.
We can pre-germ all seed types except wild flower mixes which are intolerant to the heat process involved.
Pre-germinated seed is available in 10 and 20kg bags with a guaranteed morning delivery, giving establishment normally within 2-4 days depending on seed mix and aftercare regime.
Because each batch of seed is prepared individually at least seven days notice is required and once ordered cancellation cannot be accepted.
